With years of experience in visual storytelling and in the arts and cultural sector, his work explores the intersections of self-discovery, collective memory, and postcolonial narratives. As a photographer and filmmaker, Matthew creates visual essays that examine identity and transformation, most recently through his ongoing project Journey into the Unknown.

Alongside this artistic practice, he contributes as a researcher and curator at SAVVY Contemporary, where he engages in project coordination and supports transdisciplinary explorations that bridge art, theory, and lived experience.
